Truckloads of Corn are sent out to these Maasai people in great times of need. As drought sets in, crops don't grow, animals die, and food prices go up. The poor do not have enough money to buy necessary food when the prices get very high.

Water tanks have been constructed, but there is a need of more tanks and clean water, as there is no well water in this area. Some walk up to 30 km one way to get water during dry times.
